Hello, and welcome to my site.

My name is Jason Martin. I'm a 3D Artist specializing in designing assets for video games and virtual world environments. This site serves as my professional and personal portfolio.

I've worked professionally for 3+ years, most recently at Icarus Studios, in Cary NC. I moved to RTP in 2006 from the Triad area to start work as an intern for Icarus.

As an intern, I worked on prop models for use in Fallen Earth, a MMO that was in early development at the time. Later, I made contributions to building model rework during polish stages. Fallen Earth was released in the Fall of 2009 for PC. After approximately a year, my efforts and skills gained me a full-time position as an artist on the Icarus Demo Team. I was responsible for modeling and texturing assets, as well as placing them into scenes and real-time environments for multiple projects. I modeled props and compiled cinematic environments for Dexter the Game , an iPhone app released in the Fall of 2009 based on the popular Showtime series. My team worked closely with representatives from Mark Ecko and Showtime during development.
